Carlos A. Baglione was born on November 23, 1916 in Lucca (Toscana), Italy .

At age 14, he immigrated to Argentina with his family.

His first presentation was in 1941 to the “Salon Rojas”. At this time he had his first contact with Argentine masters at the free workshop directed by Fray Guillerrmo Buttler, at the Santo Domingo Convent. He then attends Vicente Puig's workshop for two years.

In 1951 he attends Master Hurruchua's workshop until 1953.

Three years later he visits Master Forte's workshop, who he accompanies until 1959. From here on all of his works are done in his own studios. It must be considered that since 1941 he exhibits in almost all of the national and provincial galleries.
